Casey Brouse, Masters in Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Nutrition is designed to help  your body restore function and restore nutritional deficiencies.  Having  answers to patients that are suffering from many different conditions  like MS, heartburn, depression, anxiety, digestion, weight control and  many other condition has made a big impact with our practice.  Through  supplements, dietary  and nutrition upgrades and restoring the nerve  flow many of our patients have been able to make huge progress with  their quality of life, including decreasing medication.

Casey, our clinical nutritionist,  was born and raised locally, graduating  from Richland High School in Johnstown.  She played multiple sports  eventually earning a volleyball scholarship to Edinboro University.   After receiving her undergraduate degree, she opened up multiple gym franchises at the age of 23. It was during her ownership at the gyms  when a true passion for nutrition was ignited.  Casey was consistently  seeing women lose weight but not all of them became healthier through this process.  Sometimes women would still have diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.  It was then she realized there had to be more to your health than just cutting calories and exercising.  It  became a mission for her to truly help people get healthy.

Casey met Dr. John Brouse, a chiropractor, in 2005 which peaked her interest into finding the root cause of illness and disease and fixing it, not just covering up symptoms of sickness and disease.  Dr. John was was able to help Casey with her own health.  Although she appeared healthy on the outside, she had been suffering with debilitating asthma, having  had multiple trips in and out of emergency rooms and without chiropractic, she truly feels she would not be alive today.

Dr.  John Brouse and Casey married in 2007 and were blessed with two awesome  children, Erica and John David Jr. Casey pursued and received her  masters in applied clinical nutrition with honors from New York  Chiropractic College and runs her practice within Brouse Chiropractic and Nutrition offering services to both chiropractic and  non-chiropractic patients. Coaching weight loss has been a life long journey for Casey.  After trying and coaching multiple programs, today she feels most confident about the weight loss program and nutrition services she provides. She loves being a part of an individual's health transformation, especially those with diabetes since she was diabetic  herself and her son is Type 1 diabetic. She keeps busy constantly reading and keeping up to date on current nutrition information since the world of nutrition is forever changing.  She also loves to camp, hunt, and spend time with her  family.  By the power of nutrition and chiropractic, she allows her body to live to its God given potential everyday, medication free and loves  to help individuals do the same!
