Casey Brouse, Masters in Clinical Nutrition
Casey focuses on helping your body restore function and address nutritional deficiencies through her expertise in clinical nutrition. Having answers for patients suffering from various conditions such as MS, heartburn, depression, anxiety, digestion issues, weight control, and other health challenges has significantly impacted our practice. By utilizing supplements, dietary upgrades, nutrition services, and restoring nerve flow, many patients have experienced tremendous improvements in their quality of life, including a reduction in medication reliance.
Casey, our dedicated clinical nutritionist, was born and raised locally, graduating from Richland High School in Johnstown. An athlete at heart, she earned a volleyball scholarship to Edinboro University. After completing her undergraduate degree, she opened several gym franchises at the young age of 23. It was during her time as a gym owner that her true passion for nutrition blossomed. While she witnessed women successfully lose weight, she noted that not all of them experienced improved health. Many still faced challenges like diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. This realization sparked her mission to help people achieve true health.
In 2005, Casey met Dr. John Brouse, a chiropractor, which deepened her interest in identifying the root causes of illness and disease rather than merely masking symptoms. Dr. John played a pivotal role in improving her own health, particularly as she had been suffering from debilitating asthma and enduring frequent emergency room visits. She credits chiropractic care with significantly improving her quality of life.
Casey and Dr. John Brouse married in 2007 and are blessed with two wonderful children, Erica and John David Jr. She pursued and earned her master's degree in applied clinical nutrition with honors from New York Chiropractic College, now offering essential nutrition services alongside chiropractic care at Brouse Chiropractic and Nutrition. Weight loss coaching has been a lifelong pursuit for Casey. After trying various programs, she is now most confident in the weight loss program that she provides. She is passionate about being part of health transformations, especially for those with diabetes, drawing on her own experience as a former diabetic and a mother of a Type 1 diabetic child. Always eager to learn, she keeps up to date with current nutrition information, as the landscape of nutrition is always evolving. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys camping, hunting, and spending quality time with her family. Through the power of nutrition and chiropractic, she embraces her God-given potential each day, medication-free, and aims to help others do the same.
